Clients comment posting site...

Here is a place for all my previous clients to write a brief thought about the tour they took with me. I've had so much fun over the years with my tours, and can only hope you did too!

Tom was recommended to us by friends who had stumbled upon him whilst studying their Berlin map with bemusement. They opted to accept his offer of a tour and boy what a find! We visited Berlin as a group of 10 in November and Tom met us in our hotel lobby, before embarking on a marathon which took us from West to East Berlin, on foot, bus, subway and overground. He weaved Berlin's history into his stories throughout the day and kept us spellbound (and out of the bars!) We saw absolutely everything and more than we had hoped for (including a 'to die for' chocolate shop)and definitely got the best out of our visit. The time flew by and Tom left us with some recommendations for our evening and with lots of ideas for the following day. It was excellent value for money and I really don't think we would have appreciated Berlin without Tom's tour. We still had the energy to indulge in some shameless barhopping in the evening and staggered back to our hotel in the wee small hours - a most satisfactory weekend!

Tom is EXCELLENT! My friend Lisa and I had planned on another walking tour, but Tom saved us. He took us on the most comprehensive and by far the best tour of a city I have ever been on. Berlin is riddled with historical undercurrent and Tom brings it out for you with unexpected vividness (his photos help when your imagination lacks!) By the end of the 6 hours, (what! that was 6 hours?!) you have gone from west to east, under and overground, weaving your way through the rich history of Berlin.

Though many things were closed, Tom left us many suggestions (Gates of Ishtar are unbelievable, the chocolate, well, I'm getting everyone hooked) for the next day. WHEN I go back to Berlin, I'll be looking you up Tom! And I'm sending everyone your way...

We spent all day with Tom on March 30 and had a wonderful time. He is very knowledgable about Berlin, fun, funny and a very good tour guide. He has a great way of explaining the history of the city and all of the things we saw. We felt we very much got our money's worth and had a good time.

P.S. Tom how to we upload a picture?

A day spent with Thomas Williamson is an unbeatable experience. We found it such a stimulating and informative day that it has spoiled us for subsequent guided tours. In one day we experienced a history tour of Berlin and we understand what made the German nation. It enabled a richer understanding of the two wars and the 20th Century history. It was the grand tour of the great sites combined with an intimate tour of places and events that you won't find in the guide book. And it was done with humour, theatrical performances, the occasional song and always with great enthusiasm. In a long day we were entertained and educated constantly - and we were never bored. Take this tour with Thomas and if we're wrong, track us down and we will pay for your experience.
